In 1985, Sid Fanarof founded zPizza, a pizza chain known for its customized pizzas. Based in Newport Beach, California, the chain has several locations in Los Angeles, California and Phoenix, Arizona, among others. Its name was derived from a mispronunciation of “the” as “zee” – the founder and his partners originally called it “the pizza place” while still searching for an appropriate name for it.
The zPizza prices are slightly higher than other national pizza chains, but similar to other fast casual restaurants.
zPizza allows its customers to build their own pizzas from the available crusts, toppings, cheeses, and sauces. There’s then always something that will please your palate and mood for the day, whether you come here for breakfast or lunch. The menu also features several sandwiches and salads for a complete meal although the pizzas are apparently the most popular items.
The pizzas are more interesting, too, than zPizza’s competitors so there’s something to look forward to with each visit. The toppings, for example, include fennel sausages, artichoke hearts, and Roma tomatoes.
Above are the latest zPizza menu prices.
