About Waffle House
Joe Rogers Sr. and Tom Forkner founded the Waffle House with its first restaurant opened in 1955 in Georgia. Today, the chain has more than 2,100 restaurants in the United States with majority of them in the South while its headquarters are in Gwinnett County in Georgia. The Waffle House brand is considered a culture icon in the South – a part of community life, if you will.
The Waffle House prices are so reasonable that its customers aren't waffling about eating their fair share of its delicious fare, even on a weekly basis. The restaurants are popular places to enjoy breakfast, brunch and late night meals for individuals as well as families and friends. These are also great places to bring along the kids because of the kid-friendly menu and ambiance.
The menus are divided into breakfast menu and lunch/dinner menu. The foods include chili, salads (Garden Salad and Avondale Salad), melts (Texas Melts and Texas Angus Patty Melt), and steaks (rib-eye steak, T-bone steak, and sirloin). Burgers, which can be customized according to the diners' preferences, sandwiches and wraps are also available.
