About Taco Bueno
Bill R. Waugh opened the first Taco Bueno restaurant in Abilene, Texas in 1967. After a few changes in its ownership, the chain has more than 180 restaurants in Texas, Arkansas, and Colorado, among others.
The Taco Bueno prices are among the most reasonable in the fast-food industry so customers usually have enough money to satisfy their Tex-Mex cravings. The chain is known for its dedication to good quality for its food and drinks, as well as to good customer service from its staff. Indeed, Taco Bueno may be a relatively small chain but its regular patrons know that it's among the best places for Tex-Mex staples.
The menu features pork tamales, a seasonal item; the Big Ol' Burrito consisting of a 12-inch flour tortilla filled with chili sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a choice of meat; the MexiDips & Chips consist of tortilla chips and corn tortilla bowls with queso and fresh guacamole; and Muchaco, fried pita bread with shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes with choice of meat.
