El Torito Menu Prices

There's Mexican food prepared the American way and then there's Mexican food prepared the El Torito way – and we like the latter more! The first El Torito restaurant was among the first of its kind – a full-service casual restaurant with a Mexican menu – when Larry J. Cano opened it in 1954. Today, the chain has several locations in California, Arizona, and Oregon; Real Mex Restaurants is the current owner and operator.

The El Torito menu consists of a mix of Mexican appetizers and entrées, which are the core of the restaurants' offerings, and American alcoholic beverages including liquors and beers. Many of the food are actually prepared in full view of the diners (i.e., tableside), such as the guacamole, so there's a feeling of camaraderie between diners and servers. The El Torito prices may seem expensive at first but when you enjoy the food and the service, you will find them well worth the money.

Every El Torito restaurant has festive decorations that evoke a Mexican hacienda, especially with the lively music playing in the background. The fiesta feel definitely adds to the feeling of being in a Mexican cantina.
